Our recipes are designed with the very simple goal of helping everyday pets to not just survive, but truly thrive through great nutrition. After asking over 2000 kiwi pet parents what was important to you, we worked with a leading group of pet food technologists to design a premium quality pet food recipe that would meet the needs of New Zealand furbabys and their families.

Our Story

Making better choices for our Furbabys.

Hi! We are Amy and Ben Rennell. We started Feed My Furbaby to solve a problem that we constantly had - running out of pet food for our Furbaby, Jack.

As a family of 5 (including Jack), life can get pretty hectic and buying dog food was one of those niggly chores that we had just accepted as part of the deal. One typically busy morning, we’d run out of dog food (again) and Ben had to shoot out to the shop before work - an all too familiar and stressful start to the day that left us thinking 'there has to be a better way'! So the idea of a tailored pet food subscription service was born!

When we started to look more closely at how pet food could be improved, we were pretty shocked at the aisles and aisles of thick, heavy, plastic bags that are shipped all over the world with little regard for the environment. So, we decided ‘if we're rewriting the rule book anyway, why not take sustainability seriously too’. That way, we can all make responsible choices on behalf of our pets.

Our mission now is to improve the health of everyday pets by giving pet parents easier, more affordable access to natural, premium quality pet food that’s better for the planet.
